Sunangel Media is the video production company of filmmaker, musician, and educator Gaetano Vaccaro. Gaetano Vaccaro is committed to making meaningful contributions to this world through storytelling in film. Through Sunangel Media, Gaetano has been supporting non-profit organizations, state agencies, and businesses for over a decade in the form of educational, promotional, and fundraising videos. Leah Penniman, Co-Director of Soul Fire Farm, describes the fundraising video Sunangel Media produced as one the most important tools they have used to leverage necessary funds. Sunangel Media has worked on several documentaries, which have been recognized and awarded at prominent film festivals. Resiliencia, a documentary about the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico which Vaccaro filmed and edited, was awarded Best Documentary at The International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival in New York. 

Additionally, Gaetano also has filmed and edited numerous music videos, receiving acclaim in publications such Rolling Stone and Billboard. In 2019, Gaetano filmed and edited a music video for the global nonprofit One Billion Rising, which has received over a million views across platforms to date. Gaetano Vaccaro is also an accomplished musician, working for over 15 years with music partner Taína Asili. Over the past few years they have moved into the realm of film scoring, most recently working on the full length documentary Into Loving Hands.  

Further, since 2009 Gaetano has offered music, film and new media education to teens. For ten years Gaetano worked with the award-winning program Youth FX, and later with Albany High School through Proctor’s MediaWorks program.
